Day 01: [Airport –Kandy – Approx. 04 Hrs. Drive]

Arrival to Colombo International Airport, Pick up from Airport and transfer to Kandy, En-route visit to the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage which is providing a caring home for abandoned and wounded elephants, here adults and baby elephants from around Sri Lanka thrive, and a captive breeding program is also proving to be highly successful. The feeding and bathing times are generally the ideal times to visit when you can observe these gentle giants at their best.
Check in to your hotel and relax
Evening a city tour of Kandy – the last kingdom of the Sinhalese, taking in the sights of Upper Lake Drive and the Market Square on the way to pay homage to one of the most sacred religious sites in Sri Lanka. The Temple of the Tooth or DaladaMaligawa is believed to house the ‘tooth relic’ of the Lord Buddha. Evening: Round off your day with a cultural show, where the vibrant costumes and pulsating rhythms of traditional dance forms from centuries-old rituals will enthrall you.

Day 02: [Kandy – Nuwara Eliya – Approx.03 Hrs. Drive]

After Breakfast head ‘up country’ and the city of Nuwara Eliya, stopping by at the Peradeniya Royal Botanical Gardens en route. 147 acres of lushness with over 5000 species of trees and plants many of which are rare or endemic; a spice garden and an Orchid house are yours to explore.
Continue to Nuwara Eliya, En-route visit Sir Bhakta Hanuman temple &Ramboda waterfalls and a tea factory along the way.
Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple: In the hills of Ramboda where Hanuman was searching for Sita, the Chinmaya Mission of Sri Lanka built the Sri Bhakta Hanuman Temple which is visited by thousands of devotees every year.
Evening Nuwara Eliya city tour including Sithaamman temple, Divurumpola and Hakgala garden.
Sita Amman Temple: The prominent temple architecture will not fail to attract your attention. Ancient statues of Rama and Sita can be seen on one side of the temple. The temple today is a modern building with its paintings, statues and pillars decorated with sculptures; all depicting the tale of Rama and Sita.
Hakgala Botanical Gardens: This is the exotic pleasure garden where King Ravana kept the depressed Sita, insisting that she marries him. It was here where the heartwarming meeting took place between her and Hanuman, who brought her Rama’s ring with the news that Rama was looking for her. Divurumpola Temple: This is the place where Seetha Devi underwent "Agni Pariksha" (test). It is a popular place of worship among locals in this area. Divurumpola means place of oath in Sinhala. Day 03: [Nuwara Eliya – Bentota / Kaluthara – Approx. 04 Hrs. Drive]

After breakfast transfer to Beach via Kithulgala. If you feel adventurous, the incredible experience of White Water Rafting awaits you at Kitulgala. The 5km on the picturesque Kelani River run covers 5 major rapids and 4 minor ones. You will be in good hands with safety gear, modern rafts, and a comprehensive safety briefing given by our white water rafting instructors beforehand. Those who prefer to keep their feet dry can take it easy, relax and admire the beautiful views.

Day 04: [Bentota / Kaluthara– Galle]

After breakfast leave for an excursion to the Heritage city of Galle. For centuries Galle has stood strong against invasions - from colonial powers and nature’s volatile outbursts. The famous Dutch Fort was first built by the Portuguese, fortified by the Dutch and preserved by the British. Battered daily for over 400 years by the ocean it even survived the onslaught of a tsunami and is enjoyed today by residents and visitors alike. The colonial architecture of the walled city too has resisted the advance of modernity and holds tightly to its past glory.
Afternoon: Continue the journey along the coast to Bentota taking in the unique sight of Stilt Fishing along the shores of Ahangama. An iconic image of Sri Lanka, Stilt Fishing is a skill handed down from one generation to the next: an ancient tradition that is sadly on the decline.
Further along the coast, you will visit the Turtle Hatchery at Kosgoda - a successful conservation effort established to protect Sri Lanka's turtles from extinction
Madu River Boat Ride with fish therapy-The bio-diversity of the Madu River is of monumental signification when considering the wide ranges of aquatic and avian life as well as wetland dwelling amphibians, reptiles, mammals that inhabit the environs of this natural treasure. A total of 11 species of agnatic mollusks and 14 land-dwelling mollusks are found in this system. 70 species of fish, 31 types of reptiles, and 50 kinds of butterflies are just some of the colorful array of wildlife that inhabits this abundantly bustling eco-system. Bird watchers will be pleased to know that 111 species of bird have been identified in the mangrove formed environs of the river, and has been known to host several types of migratory birds
Bentota - on the South coast of Sri Lanka lays the city of Bentota. The general area of Bentota is interesting for birds. On the shore Sea birds and Wanders are often found. Including the rare Indian Heron and Vegetation along the river harbors many local species as well as winter migrants. Many interesting sightseeing tours are possible from here, such as the Turtle Hatchery, Madu river Boat trips on Bentota River, etc.

Day 05: [Bentota – Colombo – Approx. 01 ½ Hrs. Drive]

Arrival Breakfast transfer to Colombo.
Colombo - a drive through the city taking you to the busy commercial areas as well as the tree-lined residential, Cinnamon Gardens. Visit Fort, the former British administrative center and military garrison, Sea Street - the Goldsmith's quarters in the heart of Pettah, the Bazaar area, where is also a Hindu Temple with elaborate stone carvings and the Dutch Church of Wolfendhal dating back to 1749. The historic Dawatagaha Mosque and the former Eye Hospital are two buildings in Cinnamon Gardens worth looking at. Also, visit the BMICH
Overnight stay at Colombo

Day 06: [Colombo - Airport – Approx. 30 Mins. Drive]

After Free for Colombo shopping. Afternoon / Evening transfer to Airport to connect departure flight.
